These rods offer a unique combination of features, among which are long cast capability, extreme sensitivity, strength and EXTRA LIGHT WEIGHT DESIGN. Every rod is an ideal weapon for trophy fishing, when success is so important and all may depend on the reliability of your equipment.

The Ultima range consists of three rods which are very different in their blank geometry. Each rod is constructed specially for particular applications.

The extra high modulus carbon fiber blanks withstand huge power shocks. Furthermore this rod has excellent feedback and a precise feel. For example the difference between a fish touching the bait and the bait touching the bottom is easily distinguishable. You can even recognize the bottom structure. Norstream achieved these unique characteristics through application of the latest developments in graphite treatment and careful tuning of the factors that affect the rod conduction of lure vibrations through the line, through the guides, on to the reel-seat and finally to the hand of an angler.

The blanks of this series are produced using the UTC and Micro Pitch technology which results in complete removal of the gluing components from the fiber structures. It also uses "52 ton" carbon, applied previously only for extra long poles, delivering an unprecedented set of features for this rod. The graphite layers are structured using a unique technology which reduces the noise vibrations whilst retaining the flexibility to cast extremely light lures. Despite its steep action Ultima rods are adopted for a better control over the hooked fish.

The guides along Ultima rods are located as per the Fuji New Concept principles. They are all top quality Fuji SIC and are fit for exploitation of PE lines. With care for every detail; Norstream engineers have mounted all three-leg guides on models UT- 90MH and UT - 90H on a specially hand crafted interim layer, to give an extra protection against shocks from a fighting game fish.

Cork of AAA grade is used to construct the handle unit. The reel-seat is a combination of wood and steel and is uniquely mounted directly on the blank. This is just one of the secrets of the hyper sensitivity of Ultima, so much adored by many keen anglers. As modern reels are getting lighter and lighter the Ultima owners can enjoy the special feature of balancing the reel-rod combination using the set of weights allocated in the bottom section of the handle unit.

UT-86M was specially crafted to benefit lures of medium size, like spinners and wobblers or small spoons. Moreover, with this particular rod you can perform jerking with wobblers in a strong stream, and it will expand your fishing range.

UT-90MH is a rod, constructed specially to maximize the strength of the feedback to the hand of the angler. Jig heads to cast and medium heavy spoons are the lures for this model.

UT-93H was designed as an "all round" rod for any kind of lures of the relevant weight. It has a Steep blank with an extra light top which delivers an accurate and long cast.
